Hi, David Rossow
Hi, I’m David Rossow, a Juneau, Alaska videographer and the creator behind Nomadik Imagery.
For over a decade, I’ve been capturing stories through a camera, blending a deep respect for wild places with a passion for visual storytelling. What started as a film student’s dream has grown into a career spanning action sports, outdoor brands, and documentary style filmmaking across the United States.
Today, I’m based in Juneau, Alaska. My goal is always the same: to create visuals that feel real and tell a compelling story.
If you’re looking for an Alaskan based videographer who understands the landscape, the logistics, and the story behind the shot, you’re in the right place. Explore my work, view available prints, and let’s create something meaningful together.
My Approach
Every project starts with a conversation. Before I pick up a camera, I want to understand what you're trying to say, the story behind the story.
I believe the best visuals come from preparation, patience, and knowing when to let a moment unfold on its own. Whether I'm on a mountain at sunrise or in the middle of a brand shoot, I bring the same mindset: stay present, stay intentional, and don't force it.
Living and working in Alaska has shaped the way I see light, landscape, and timing. Out here, conditions change fast and you rarely get a second chance at a shot. That discipline carries into every project I take on, no matter the location.
My process is collaborative. I work closely with clients from pre-production through final delivery, so there are no surprises and no guesswork. Just a clear creative vision executed well.
At the end of the day, I'm not just delivering footage. I'm delivering something you'll actually want to watch.
